Kew Townhouse Renovation Perfect for Home Entertaining

Project description

Upon purchasing their new home, our clients wanted to renovate their living areas to suit their lifestyle.  Recommended to us by family and friends, the brief for the project was to provide a space that suited their love of entertaining, and fulfill their wishlist to include a new kitchen, butler’s pantry and stunning wine bar area under their staircase.

Grandview Kitchens & Joinery project managed the renovation including new windows and some building work to create the new layout.

Our designer worked with their ideas to deliver a contemporary approach to their design. The black peninsula bench adds depth to the space with its textural finish, whilst being a stark contrast to the white cabinetry in a beaded door profile.  The marble benchtops and splashback ooze with luxury appeal and this flows to the bar cabinetry as a statement piece with beautiful backlighting and arched doors with reeded glass inserts.

Inside the butlers pantry there is ample storage and benchtop space for food preparation, with the addition of another sink.  The open shelving in a woodgrain finish provides a lighter feel to the smaller room and allows for display of decorative tea sets and indoor plants.
