The COVID-19 Situation

An announcement from our Director Jason on the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Situation

Dear Customers,

With the growing concerns about COVID-19 (commonly known as the coronavirus),  Grandview Kitchens would like to inform you that we are 100% dedicated to continuing to conducting safe practices and maintaining a clean and healthy environment for all of our customers and employees. We understand and appreciate that there is growing fear and anxiety due to COVID-19,  and we want to reassure you that we are taking every precaution to keep both our employees and customers safe and healthy,  should you need to come into our offices or showroom.

As the Managing director of Grandview Kitchens,  I would also like to remind you all that there has never been a more important time to choose a company that you can be assured has the strength and proven history to know how to manage a business through these tough times. We have been trading continuously since 1975,  owned and operated by the same family. We have seen the stock market crash of 1987,  the recession of the early 1990’s,  and the economic slowdowns that followed September 11 and the financial crisis of 2007-2008.   We have survived,  and have been able to keep more than twenty employees in their jobs throughout these uncertain times.

As an extra way to reassure you during these tough and uncertain times,  I am offering all customers a reduced rate of deposit of $250  which is 100% refundable until check measure stage.   This effectively gives you a 14 day cooling off period in most cases,  and more in some. It also means that if we go into a forced Government shutdown,  you will not have to make any progress payments until after the shut down has ended. We are also offering this as a sign of our strength and stability as a company.   Yes we are trying to lock in new jobs,  but our focus is to keep our employees in jobs in these tough times.   If that means we have to do these  jobs at cost,  that’s what we will do, we appreciate you helping us achieve this.

We would also like to reassure you that at this stage we are not facing any stock or labour shortages and our schedule is on track. Of course, we are monitoring the situation daily,  and if anything changes we will inform you well in advance.

If anything should change from your end,  please contact us and we will endeavour to work around your situation.

I hope this letter helps reassure you that you are in good hands,  and failing anything happening outside of our control your order and renovations will be carried out as per our original estimated time frame. In the meantime, we hope you all stay safe and well.
